How do I reset my Scoop password?

You can reset your Scoop password directly from the Scoop mobile app by following the steps below.

How to reset your password

  • Open the Scoop app and go to the sign-in screen.

  • Tap Forgot password?

  • Enter the email address associated with your Scoop account and select Send instructions.

    • The app may auto-populate your email address.

    • If entering it manually, be sure it matches exactly as it is on your Scoop account (email entry is case-sensitive).

  • Check your email for a password reset link and follow the instructions provided.


Password tips and requirements

If your password isn’t meeting the requirements, try the following to improve its strength:

  • Ensure your new password is at least 8 characters long. 

  • Add additional words or a short phrase. Uncommon words, especially those not associated with your name, tend to be stronger.

  • Avoid common passwords (like “password”) or simple keyboard patterns such as “asdfg” or “1234”.


Important things to know

  • Password resets can only be completed through the Scoop mobile app.

  • The ScoopCare team is not able to reset passwords on your behalf.

  • Password reset links are valid for 24 hours.

    • If the link expires, you’ll need to request a new reset email.


Not seeing the reset email?

If you don’t see the password reset email in your inbox:

  • Check your spam or junk folder

  • Try searching your email for “Scoop”

  • If you’re using a company email address, your IT administrator may need to allow Scoop emails through your organization’s security filters
