How do I manage saved addresses?

We know your commute doesn’t always follow the same routine. Some days you might head to the gym after work, meet friends downtown, or commute from a different location. Scoop makes it easy to save and manage multiple addresses so you can schedule carpools that fit your day.

Below are the ways you can add, edit, and remove saved addresses in the app.


Add a New Address from the Account Menu

  1. Tap Account in the bottom navigation bar in the app.
  2. From the Account menu, tap Settings.
  3. Then tap Commute.
  4. From the Commute menu, tap Addresses.
  5. You can then tap Add address.
  6. Enter the address and select or create a label then tap Save.

 📢Important: Each location can only be saved once; the same address cannot be saved under multiple labels to avoid scheduling confusion. Addresses cannot be edited or removed while they are associated with a pending or matched carpool request.


Add a New Address While Scheduling a Trip

You can also save a new address while creating or editing a trip request:

  1. On your trip request, tap Edit next to the address you’d like to change.
  2. In the menu that appears, tap Add address near the top.
  3. Enter the new address and choose or create a label.
  4. Tap Save.
  5. Select the new address to apply it to your current trip request.

Edit or Remove a Saved Address

Addresses labeled Home or Work cannot be deleted, but they can be edited or updated to a new location. Other saved addresses can be removed by tapping on the address and selecting Delete.

👉Tip: On iOS, you can also swipe left on an address to delete it. On Android, you can tap and hold an address to quickly delete it.
