  • Updated

For information on scheduling a carpool while using shift scheduling see the following section of the article.

Scheduling Scoop carpools for your daily commute is quick and simple! Morning and evening carpools are scheduled separately to give you more flexibility in your day.

Morning carpools must be scheduled by 9:00 PM the night before the carpool. Evening carpools must be scheduled by 2:00 PM on the same day of the carpool. You'll be notified about your match status a few minutes after each deadline.

How to schedule a carpool

  • Tap the Trip Card for a specific commute leg (e.g. Tuesday morning)
  • Pick whether you want to ride or drive. You can also choose to be matched as either a Rider or a Driver if you're flexible!
  • Select your origin and destination from your saved addresses.
  • Select a pickup window that you can commit to. If you select a pickup window of at least 45 minutes, you’ll be able to set your preferred pickup time within the range.

Riders and Drivers are welcome to schedule their carpools up to a week in advance and we’ll automatically match you into an efficient, traffic-predictive carpool. Early scheduling is encouraged as this allows us to better match commuters.

That’s all there is to it! A few taps and your carpool is scheduled – we take care of the rest.
