If you have flexibility in your commute, you can let Scoop know that you’re open to being matched as either a Rider or a Driver. This helps the app optimize carpool efficiency and gives you the best chance of getting a match.

To use the Ride or Drive option:

• Select your preferred mode by tapping the Ride or Drive button at the top of the Trip Card when scheduling.

• Then, toggle the button below your preferred mode to indicate that you’re open to being matched in either role.

If a match isn’t available for your preferred mode, the app will attempt to match you in your alternate mode. This way, you maximize your chances of getting a convenient carpool.
