If you’re not using Scoop’s shift scheduling feature, there’s no requirement to schedule both your morning and evening trips with Scoop. We welcome you to schedule as much or as little as you like! 

Scoop does not schedule carpools on your behalf — all scheduling must be done directly in the app from your own account.

That said, we encourage commuters to schedule both trips whenever possible. Doing so helps create a consistent experience for the entire Scoop community and ensures reliable carpools for both Riders and Drivers.

If you are using Scoop's shift scheduling feature, round-trip carpools are required. This ensures that you’ll know your return trip details before your shift begins, helping you plan your day more effectively.

📝 Note: shift scheduling is only available for commuters whose employers are a part of a specific Enterprise carpool Program. If your employer is a part of a program offering shift scheduling, you will see it within the Scoop app.
