About 10 to 15 minutes after each scheduling deadline we'll send you a notification with your match status and carpool information.
Scheduling deadlines:
Morning carpools must be scheduled by 9:00 PM the night before the trip takes place.
Afternoon/evening carpools must be scheduled by 2:00 PM on the day of the trip.
📝 Note: Once the scheduling deadline has passed, you will not be able to make in app changes to your trip details. To request changes, we recommend contacting your matched commuter to see if they can accommodate a change.
What to expect if you scheduled as a Rider
Once the scheduling deadline passes, Scoop’s algorithm will match you with a Driver going the same way:
- You’ll receive a notification showing your Driver details and your scheduled pickup time.
Close to your pickup time, you can track your Driver’s progress on the map as they approach your location.
What to expect if you scheduled as a Driver
Once the scheduling deadline passes, Scoop’s algorithm will match you with a Rider going the same way:
- You’ll receive a notification showing your Rider(s) and your scheduled departure time.
- Tap your Trip Card to view the Rider’s employer, contact information, and route details.
What to expect after scheduling while using shift scheduling
Note: shift scheduling is only available for commuters whose employers are a part of a specific Enterprise carpool Program. If your employer is a part of a program offering shift scheduling, you will see it within the Scoop app.
A few minutes after the scheduling deadline, we'll send you a notification with your round-trip carpool information.
Shift Scheduling deadline:
- The standard scheduling deadline for Round-trip carpools is 6:00 PM the day before your work trip takes place.
For Shift Scheduling, the deadline is based on your local worksite time zone and will be clearly displayed in the app. Be sure to check the app for the exact deadline that applies to your trip.
What to expect if you scheduled as a Rider:
After the scheduling deadline, we run our algorithm to match you with a Driver who is going the same way for both your going to work and return trips.
📝Note: It is possible to be matched with different Drivers for your going to work and return trips.
- Once matched, you’ll receive a notification that tells you who you’ll be carpooling with and the time you'll be picked up for both trips.
- When it's close to your scheduled pick-up time, you’ll be able to see the Driver’s progress on the map as they drive towards your location.
What to expect if you scheduled as a Driver:
After the scheduling deadline, we run our algorithm to match you with a Rider who is going the same way for both your to work and return trip.
📝 Note: It is possible to be matched with different Riders for your to work and return trips.
- Once matched, you’ll receive a notification that tells you who you’ll be carpooling with and the time you should depart for both trips.
- Tap on the trip card to see the Rider’s employer, contact information, and route details.
