What should I do if I'm in a car accident?

  • Updated

Your safety comes first. If anyone is injured or there is an immediate danger, call 911 right away.

Once everyone is safe, gather the necessary information from all parties involved, including insurance details, contact information, and any relevant photos or notes about the incident.

As soon as you’re able, please contact ScoopCare at support@scoopcommute.com
with details about the accident. Our team will review the information and follow up with you directly.

Scoop has a dedicated Trust & Safety team that supports Drivers through the insurance process. We can help guide conversations with your insurance provider and offer personalized assistance throughout the claim process. We understand that navigating insurance can be stressful, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

📝Note: Scoop is a share-the-expense carpooling platform, not a transportation network company (TNC) or rideshare service. Scoop carpools are typically covered under a Driver’s personal auto insurance policy. You can learn more by reviewing our insurance FAQ.
