What should I do if I'm in a car accident?

  • Updated

In the case of an emergency, please contact 911 for immediate assistance if necessary.

Please remember to collect necessary insurance and contact information from anyone involved in the accident. Once you have ensured everyone is safe, please first reach out to ScoopCare directly via support@scoopcommute.com with any relevant information about the accident. Our team will then follow up with you directly.

Scoop provides a dedicated Trust and Safety team to assist drivers in speaking with their insurance providers. We provide personalized support to ensure that your claim is always covered. We know dealing with your insurance provider can be tricky, so we want to be here to navigate the conversation with you, every step of the way.

Scoop is a considered a share-the-expense carpooling solution and is not a TNC or Rideshare company, and therefore should be covered under your normal personal auto policy. You can read our FAQ about insurance here.
