📢 Important: In order to successfully process your driver history report, you must have received your permanent driver’s license card in the mail and held it for at least 7 days. Temporary or expired licenses cannot be used for verification.

Motor vehicle history review

Scoop runs a motor vehicle report through a trusted, industry-leading third-party provider, Checkr, Inc., to review your driving record over the past five years. This review considers both minor and major violations using industry-standard criteria to ensure the safety of the Scoop community.

  • If there are no disqualifying violations, you will be approved to drive and asked to enter your vehicle information.

  • If you are not eligible to drive, you can still schedule trips as a Rider with Scoop.

👉Tip: Keep an eye on your email inbox for messages from Checkr, as they may request additional information to complete your motor vehicle report. Respond promptly to avoid delays in your verification.

📝Note: Scoop does not store your license details on our servers. All data is encrypted and handled securely by our third-party provider.

Provide vehicle information

Once your license is approved, you will be asked to enter the following vehicle details:

You must maintain accurate vehicle information for each trip. Any changes to your vehicle should be updated in the app before driving.
