Is Scoop available in my area?
To check whether Scoop is available for your commute:
- Download the Scoop app and create your account
- After creating your Scoop account, add your primary commuting addresses (typically your home and work locations).
- If Scoop is available for your route, you’ll see scheduling options on the Commute screen.
Tip: add your company email to your Scoop account to check for any applicable promotions available to you!
If Scoop isn’t yet available in your area, the Commute screen will display a message indicating that Scoop is not currently available for the address you entered. You’re welcome to try adding alternative commuting addresses to see if other routes are supported.
Why isn’t Scoop available in my area?
Scoop is a shared carpooling service, which means availability depends on having enough commuters in a given area to support reliable matches between Riders and Drivers. We focus on launching and expanding routes where we can offer a consistent and high-quality commute experience.
Because of this, Scoop may not yet be available for every commute route.
How can I bring Scoop to my area?
We’re always working to expand Scoop to new areas, and the best way to help bring Scoop to your commute is to share us with your employer.
You can pass along the following email address to someone on your company’s HR, Transportation, Facilities, or Sustainability team:
Once they reach out, our team can share more information about how a Scoop Enterprise carpool program can help reduce commuting costs and improve the employee commute experience.
