Most carpools consist of 2 or 3 commuters:

• A carpool always has at least 2 commuters: 1 Driver and 1 Rider

• A carpool can have a maximum of 3 people: 1 Driver and up to 2 Riders

3-person carpools help more commuters get to work together and give Drivers the chance to earn a higher reimbursement during their commute.
