For Drivers
The reimbursement amount Drivers receive from Riders is consistent with the allowable limits imposed by the IRS for a company of our type. Therefore, we do not provide any tax forms such as a 1099 or W2 at the end of the year.
For Riders
If you’re part of an Enterprise carpool program sponsored by your employer, any Rider discounts provided by this program are a taxable benefit. If you have questions related to payroll tax implications for your usage of Scoop, we recommend contacting your Scoop admin or HR team for assistance as these implications may change depending on your company's process.
Please note, for further questions about your specific tax situation or tax advice, we recommend you consult a lawyer or other appropriate professional. The tax information provided in this article is for general information only and is not intended to be legal or tax advice to you on your personal tax obligations.
