Where do I enter a promo or referral code?

If you have a Scoop promo or referral code, please be sure that you manually enter it in the Scoop app before you take your first carpool. Codes entered after your first completed trip may not be eligible.

To enter a promo or referral code in app:

  1. Tap Account in the bottom navigation bar of the app
  2. Tap Settings, then select Commute.
  3. Then tap Activity & Payments
  4. On the Activity & Payments screen, tap Payments in the top-right corner.
  5. Under the Promotions section, tap Add referral or promo code.
  6. Enter your code, then tap Apply to complete the process.

Once your code is applied successfully, any eligible Carpool Credits or promotions will be added to your account based on the offer terms.

Some promo codes may include specific eligibility requirements. 

 For example:

  • The account may need to be a new Scoop user

  • The commuter may need to be associated with a specific employer or managed carpool program

  • The code may need to be entered by a certain date

Codes that don’t meet these requirements may not apply, even if entered correctly.
